· Online Banking Application
Concepts: Servlets, JDBC, JSP,HTML, JavaScript, Java Beans.
Role: Software Engineer
Scope: Banking application enables customers to use the Web site of a bank to perform banking transactions online.
The banking application has the following functionalities.
1. The application enables a user to open an account with the bank.
2. The application enables an account holder of the bank to register to use the application.
3. The application enables registered account holders to log on to the banking Web site after entering their login details. The banking application enables the account holders to view their account details. The registered user also be able to modify any personal details such as address or phone number.
4. The application also provide utilities such as an interest calculator and a foreign exchange calculator.
5. The application also display the number of the hits on the banking Web site.

· Shopping Cart Application

Scope: Shopping Cart application enables an end user to search a specific book in an online database, place an order for it and also purchase it online. The application also enables you to manage the data stored in a database for the online displayed books, such as adding a book, adding a book category and modifying the book information.

· Online Test Application
Languages: Core Java
Role: Software Engineer
Scope: The Online Test application enables the end users to take online test and displays the test result immediately after the test completes. An end user taking the test has to answer all the test questions within a fixed time limit, failing which the test stops automatically. An alert window cautions the end user, when the last two minutes are left for the test to complete. End users willing to quit the test in middle are alerted to attempt all the test questions. An end user taking the online test can check the correct answers for every question after checking the test result. The result window for the test result displays the total marks obtained, percentage of marks and the correctness of every question attempt. The Online Test Application uses a time counter to calculate the time. A timer displays the time elapsed after the start of the test. The Online Test Application is developed in Java language. Question and answer for the online test are stored in a separate java file.
